A US based organisation called the Online Trust Alliance with the goal of enhancing online best practices has released a draft ‘Trust Framework’ for the Internet of Things (Draft Framework).
The Draft Framework sets out guiding principles for the key aspects of the Internet of Things such as home appliances and wearable devices. It consists of 23 ‘minimum requirements’ and 12 ‘additional recommendations’ ranging from technical specifications to recommended business practices.
