On Feb. 8, 2012, the IRS Director of Exempt Organizations released the IRS’s 2011 Annual Report and 2012 Work Plan for Exempt Organizations. The work plan sets forth the IRS focus areas for 2012. These focus areas include political campaign activity, international operations, unrelated business activities, and Section 501(c)(4), (5), and (6) classifications.
