The Competition and Markets Authority has announced that it is inviting views on whether a review should take place into the Northern Ireland PCA Banking Market Investigation Order 2008 (the “Order”) and will decide whether the review is to go ahead based on the evidence collected.

The Order, which was last reviewed and varied in 2011, requires banks to comply with information and switching requirements and was originally put in place following an investigation by the Competition Commission into the personal current account banking market in Northern Ireland.

Those interested in the Order are invited to put forward their views on whether a review should take place by 12.00pm on 11 June 2015.  For more information, click here
