The European Securities and Markets Authority issued a consultation paper seeking views on remaining technical standards (somewhat equivalent to US regulations) on which ESMA has not yet consulted. These relate to the format and timing of communications related to the suspension and removal of financial instruments from trading on a regulated market, a multilateral trading facility or an organized trading facility; standard forms and procedures to apply to a data reporting service provider when applying to be authorized or concerning subsequent changes to its management; and position reporting for commodity derivatives, emission allowances or derivatives on emission allowances by market operators, certain market participants and certain investment firms. Comments will be accepted through October 31, 2015.
