Updated Samsung phones may be vulnerable to digital attacks.

An update mechanism for Samsung customised version of SwiftKey; available on the Samsung Galaxy S6, S5 and other Galaxy models may allow hackers to monitor the camera and microphone, read incoming and outgoing messages and install malicious apps. It is thought that as many as 600 million people may be affected. Samsung devices do not encrypt the executable file whilst downloading; allowing attackers to modify upstream traffic and replace the legitimate file with a malicious payload.
