The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) has finalized a Clean Air Act Regional Haze Federal Implementation Plan (“FIP”) for the State of Arkansas.

A FIP is a federally implemented plan to achieve air quality standards.

EPA announced Regional Haze FIPs for Arkansas and Missouri in a news release yesterday.

Both Governor Asa Hutchinson and ADEQ Director Becky Keogh have responded with a joint news release to EPA’s action.
