On March 20, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) launched a new website to identify regulatory and administrative changes the agency is taking to address the Affordable Care Act (ACA). According to the webpage, the agency is "going through every page of regulations and guidance related to the ACA to determine whether or not they work for patients and whether or not they are making our health care system better."

The agency's press release also noted that HHS will soon be taking actions to ensure a stable transition period; to lower costs, increase choices and foster competition through regulatory changes; to provide states with enhanced Medicaid flexibility; and to optimize patient care.
