ECB has published its annual report for 2015, covering both ECB’s monetary policy in 2015 and the economic developments seen in the year. It also presents the activities of the Eurosystem in its various areas of competence. ECB President, Mario Draghi, points to ECB’s expansion of the its asset purchase programme and the Eurosystem’s assistance to the Greek banking system through its emergency liquid assistance scheme as ECB’s most significant contributions to the financial environment during the year.
