On August 1st, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority advised it is modifying the criteria and process for candidates whose primary language is not English to receive additional time to complete a qualification examination or Regulatory Element Continuing Education session. Effective September 1, 2012, individuals with limited English proficiency ("LEP") must meet the LEP criteria as outlined in the Notice to qualify to receive additional time to complete an examination or continuing education session. Additionally, these individuals must submit to FINRA a LEP Request Form and receive notification that the form has been processed before scheduling an examination or continuing education session appointment. "Lexology is a good barometer of a firm's expertise as the articles showcase a firm's understanding of the issues involved and how up to date their knowledge is. It's a good one stop solution where one is able to view the same law/cases from different perspectives; on the whole I would rate Lexology as a good service."
