On June 4, 2015, the Decree that adds Article 29-BIS to the National Workers' Housing Fund Institute Law (Infonavit Law), was published in the Federation's Official Gazette with the purpose to regulate and establish new obligations for those employers who subcontract services.
The main objective of this Decree is to regulate outsourcing services and joint liability between companies, in the event the employer (service provider), does not comply with the payment of contributions and amortizations before the Infonavit.
Therefore, both, the beneficiary companies as well as the personnel service providers, must report quarterly to the Infonavit information regarding the agreements executed between them during that period.
The mentioned decree became effective on the day following its publication.
Currently, the guidelines under which the information should be reported to the Infonavit, are pending to be issued.
