On 29 September 2010, it was reported in the press that Ericsson and Philips Electronics are being represented by litigation firm Claims Funding International (“CFI”) in a cartel damages action claim against Air France-KLM. CLI estimates that the claim is currently worth €400 million but that this figure would be revised upwards if interest is to be taken into account. The European Commission has been investigating claims that a number of airlines fixed tariffs in the air cargo industry but has not yet concluded its investigations. Click here for more information.
