On 6 March 2012, the ICA ordered the connection to the online fashion store PRIVATE OUTLET’s website to be blocked for the whole Italian territory. The reasons for these measures were that this company would have published content that may have misled consumers about the availability of the products offered for sale and it would have provided obstacles to the replacement of some products that were different than those ordered, as well as to the return of money in the case of delivery failure. This is the first internet blocking measure taken by the ICA.
