On 15 June 2015, Joseph Sigelman, PetroTiger’s co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer, pleaded guilty to conspiring to pay bribes to an employee of a state-owned Colombian oil company, in violation of the FCPA.

PetroTiger   brought   the   case   to   the   DoJ’s   attention   through a voluntary disclosure and cooperated with the subsequent investigation. As a result, the DoJ has confirmed that it will not bring charges against the company.
