IOSCO is consulting on recommendations for oversight of hedge funds. It plans recommendations on:
- requirements for hedge fund counterparties;
- regulation of hedge fund managers;
- regulation of hedge funds; and
- industry best practice.
The paper includes a summary of current jurisdictional regulatory approaches. It asks for views by 30 April.
