There were 810 applications under the Taiwan–U.S.A.  PPH between September 2011 and October 2014, in which 155 were made between September 2011 and August 2012 (average 12.9 per month), 290 between September 2012 and August 2013 (average 24.2 per month), 322 between September 2013 and August 2014 (average 26.8 per month), and 43 in September and October this year, which indicates that the usage of the PPH between Taiwan and the U.S. was stable.  Nationality-wise, there were 46 applications from Taiwan, 700 from the U.S., and 64 from other countries, indicating that the main users of the PPH between Taiwan and the U.S. were the Americans.  As for the Taiwan-Japan PPH, there were 1111 applications made between May 2012 and October 2014, in which 333 were between May 2012 and April 2013 (average 27.8 per month), 529 between May 2013 and April 2014 (average 44.1 per month), 249 between May 2014 and October 2014 (average 41.5 per month), showing that the usage of PPH between Taiwan and Japan was also stable. Nationality-wise, there were 4 from Taiwan, 1105 from Japan, and just 2 from other countries, indicating that the users of the PPH between Taiwan and Japan were almost all Japanese applicants.  There was only one application under the Taiwan-Spain PPH between October 2013 and October 2014, and the only applicant there was Spanish.  In sum,  Taiwanese applicants used mostly the Taiwan – U.S.A. PPH system, and Japanese was more active in using the PPH system among the foreign applicants.
