On March 11th, the Treasury Department designated nine individuals pursuant to Executive Order 13566, including senior officials of the Government of Libya, as well as the wife and several of the children of Muammar Qadhafi. On March 15th, the Treasury Department announced the designation of Libyan Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa as well as the identification of 16 entities in Libya's banking, oil, aviation and investment sectors as being owned or controlled by the Government of Libya.
