IOSCO has published a report on commodity futures markets, prepared for the G20. The report focuses on transparency in the markets. It acknowledges various legislative proposals in the EU, the US and elsewhere, and explains its current initiatives with market participants and other organisations. It is also working with ISDA and committees of ISDA and Commodities Markets Dealers to form a commodities trade repository. It is also looking at the impact of published cash market prices on related commodity futures.
