John Maylam, potato buyer for Sainsbury's has admitted accepting bribes valued at £5m from potato producer Greenvale, including lavish hospitality and payments to foreign bank accounts between 2006 and 2008. Greenvale's operations director, David Baxter also admitted making the corrupt payments over the same period. Andrew Behagg, Greenvale's financial director denies corruption. The trial is ongoing.
