US AND GULF AIRLINES SET TO CLASH AT AVIATION SUMMIT

US airlines have accused Emirates, Qatar and Etihad airlines of receiving more than $40 billion from government bodies, and turned to the White House to address this in its talks with Qatar and UAE on the "Open Skies policy".

SAUDI KING ORDERS REVIEW IN NEW CORRUPTION CRACKDOWN

King Salman of Saudi Arabia has pledged to fight corruption in an attempt to maintain Saudi Arabia's stability as the world's top oil exporter. The Government in Saudi Arabia has already been directed to review its processes with a focus on eradication of corruption, which has long been a source of dissatisfaction amongst many Saudis.

KURDISTAN AUTHORITY CONSIDERS SUIT AGAINST KOREAN BRIBERY ALLEGATIONS

In 2008, a Korean lawmaker and a Korean daily newspaper alleged that the Kurdish Government took bribes from state run oil developer Korea National Oil Corporation. The Kurdish government insists that these payments were legal, and is now considering legal action unless they receive an apology for these allegations.
