The Commodity Futures Trading Commission extended to October 28, 2016, the date through which it will accept comments on ICE Futures U.S.’s recent proposed amendment to its block trade guidance. Under IFUS’s proposal, the principal parties to a block trade would be permitted to engage in  or anticipatory pre-hedging of the position they believe in “good faith” will result from the “consummation” of a block trade.
