The European Banking Federation (EBF) has welcomed the European Commission’s proposals for a Recovery and Resolution Directive and has set out in a paper, its views and suggestions on how the proposals can be further strengthened. Cross-border issues, recovery and resolution planning, intra group support, early intervention and conditions for resolution are examples of the areas covered in the paper.
