The Council has published the outcomes from its recent meeting. Ministers discussed how to best support SMEs and start-ups in creating jobs and scaling up. Suggested areas for this assistance are recorded as being in facilitating access to finance, stimulating cross-border activities by further developing the internal market and applying better regulation principles in order to design a future-proof regulatory environment. The Council also recorded its decision not to object to certain Commission delegated acts supplementing the Market Abuse Regulation (EU MAR) and the single resolution mechanism.
