In its latest update, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has stated it will publish the remainder of the working papers on the regulatory background to the retail banking investigation in July/August, with the deadline for responding to the working papers extended to the end of August 2015. In the meantime, it will continue to gather the views of interested parties and hold hearings and roundtables with organisations representing customers, SMEs and representatives from the BBA’s challenger bank panel, aiming to publish provisional findings in late September.
