The Government sought opinion on:
- the consultation process;
- the minimum periods for consultation and notification;
- the impact of those periods where the proposed redundancies are in particular regions or sectors; and
- the overlap between the rules and other legislation, ie TUPE and current insolvency legislation
The consultation deadline was 31 January 2012.
