As DC flexibility was introduced by the current coalition, it is no surprise that the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats are committed to it. However, only the Liberal Democrats make reference to the proposals announced in the March budget that will allow members to sell an annuity to a third party buyer. The current consultation on these proposals ends on 18 June.

Although Labour does not directly address the issue, Ed Balls (the former Shadow Chancellor) has previously stated that there was nothing in the March budget that he would seek to reverse if elected.
