StatoilHydro has signed a deal with India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation to examine the possibility of CCS in India. They will look for possibilities to develop CCS and Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM). By doing so they hope to potentially reduce CO2 emissions and promote energy efficiency throughout the country.
