The National Wildlife Federation released a report yesterday predicting substantial job creation if the United States were able to develop a significant offshore wind industry. The report focused on developing wind projects off the Atlantic coast and urged policymakers to improve the project permitting process, identify and prioritize sites for the wind projects, invest in offshore wind technology, and coordinate project planning with other marine industries.
