FSA is consulting on guidance to help firms assess their compliance with the Remuneration Code. It has produced two templates, one for "tier 2" firms and one for those in tiers 3 and 4, which set out the main questions FSA would be likely to ask in reviewing a firm's policies. It has also produced separate guidance on the rules on retentions and the rule on guaranteed variable remuneration as well as a set of FAQs. It asks for comments on the various documents by 18 May.
