FCA has published guidance on its registration function under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 (CCBSA). It explains how FCA approaches its role as the registering authority, its policy, certain processes under the Act and how FCA applies society law in its role as registering authority. The guidance also explains the legal obligations and relevant legal processes for societies. It is intended to help people when they are setting up a society, on the board of a society or advising a society. (Source: FCA Publishes Guidance on the FCA Registration Function)
