The new Belgian presidency of the EU has outlined its priorities for the next six months. On financial services, it says setting up the new supervisory infrastructure is crucial. It also says it will initiate and examine proposals for various current workstreams, including on crisis management, OTC derivatives, deposit guarantee schemes, SEPA, MAD and the AIFMD.
