The FCA has published the amendments to its Handbook that were made by the Board on 24 September 2015 and 22 October 2015.  These amendments include:

  • Rules on accountability and whistleblowing to help uncover problems at the earliest opportunity and to protect whistleblowers.
  • Changes to its Handbook to ensure it is in line with the latest Corporate Governance Code.
  • Rules allowing the FCA to implement indirect billing for the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) regulatory fees.
  • Rules removing the requirement of occupational pensions scheme (OPS) firms to submit compliance reports.

In addition, minor amendments have been made to various parts of the FCA Handbook to correct or clarify provisions.
