ESMA has published new Q&As on the application of the UCITS Directive, as revised by UCITS V. The document includes new questions on additional documents funds need to provide to satisfy the remuneration and depositary requirements of UCITS V. The new Q&As also bring together four Q&As on UCITS that ESMA has previously issued: (i) the KIID for UCITS (2015/ESMA/631); (ii) ESMA's guidelines on ETFs and other UCITS issues (ESMA/2015/12); (iii) notification of UCITS and exchange of information between competent authorities (ESMA/2012/428); and (iv) risk measurement and calculation of global exposure and counterparty risk for UCITS (ESMA/2013/1950). The new Q&As repeals and replaces these four documents.
