The holiday company Thomson has apologised after the personal data of 458 customers from across theUK was leaked via an email.

The email revealed the customers: Name, address, email address, telephone number, date of flight booked with Thomson and balance due to Thomson.

A statement from the company said "We are aware of an email that was sent in error, which shared a small number of customer's information." The error was identified very quickly and the email was recalled, which was successful in a significant number of cases.
