The Council has tabled amendments to the Presidency compromise texts on the proposals for European Venture Capital Funds (EVCF) and European Social Entrepreneurship Funds (ESEF) Regulations. New provisions have been put forward on the interplay of these Regulations with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), on the requirements for third country funds and on the access by non-professional investors to investment in units or shares of qualifying venture capital funds.(Source: Amendments to EVCF and ESEF Compromise Texts)
