FSA has banned Michael Lewis from carrying out any regulated activity for any person. It found he had knowingly submitted mortgage applications containing false and misleading information. It also fined Mr Lewis £106,499 comprising a £100,000 financial penalty and disgorgement of commission and fees on certain contracts.
