According to Austrian civil procedure law, deadlines regarding civil procedures are suspended between July 15th and August 17th. This suspension concerns appeal periods in civil procedures against first and second instance decisions or judgements. The suspension, however, does not apply (inter alia) for insolvency, enforcement or employment proceedings.
This summer the suspension concerns all services after the 15th of June (regarding 4 weeks appeal terms) and all services after the 29th of June (regarding 2 weeks appeal terms).
Employer´s Contributions
For each employee working in Vienna, employers have to pay a weekly contribution for the building and maintenance of the underground (“Dienstgeberabgabe”). Starting with the first of June 2012 this contribution has been raised from € 0.72 up to € 2.00 per week per employee.
