The business day calendar corresponding to the period from 2 October to 31 December 2016 has been approved by the Spanish Government and its Public Authorities for the purpose of calculating time periods.

A Resolution issued on 28 September 2016 by the Secretary of State established the non-business day calendar for the purpose of calculating the periods within the General State Administration’s scope for 2016, as of 2 October of such year

The non-business day calendar corresponding to the period from 2 October to 31 December 2016 has been approved by the Spanish Government and its Public Authorities for the purpose of calculating time periods. As of 2 October 2016, the following shall be defined as non-business days within the General State Administration’s scope, for the purpose of calculating time periods:

1. In national territory: Saturdays, Sundays and days declared as fixed national holidays or those for which all of the regional authorities have not exercised their faculty to replace.

2. In regional territory: days set by each regional authority as holidays.

3. Within the territory of entities comprising the local councils: days established by each regional authority in their corresponding non-business day calendars.

The non-business days referred to in points 1) and 2) of this section are listed by month and region in the annex of the aforementioned resolution published in the Official State Gazette.
