FCA has published general guidance on what firms and consumers can expect from the regulator alongside feedback to views received on an earlier version of the guidance. FCA details its approach to its key operational objectives, which are to:

  • secure an appropriate degree of protection for consumers;
  • protect and enhance the integrity of the UK financial system; and
  • promote effective competition in the interests of consumers.
