Today U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar issued a 28-year OCS lease for Cape Wind, the wind power project planned for offshore Massachusetts. Secretary Salazar also predicted that developing offshore wind projects will “stimulate investment in cutting-edge technology, create good, solid jobs for American workers, and promote our nation’s competitiveness, security, and prosperity.”
