The Notification of Conventional Tower Cranes Regulations 2010 (click here) came into force on 6 April 2010. They require employers to notify certain information to the Health and Safety Executive within 14 days of a thorough examination of the crane. They also require that cranes already erected are to be registered within 28 days. All details notified will appear in a register accessible to the public.
