In this episode, Chris and Robert interview Senator Jeffrey “Jeff” Brandes and discuss several hot topics including medical marijuana and Uber/rideshare companies. 

Senator Jeffrey “Jeff” Brandes, reelected subsequently to the Senate in 2012 and represents District 22. Jeff served on the House of Representatives from 2010-2012.

Senator Brandes earned his bachelor’s degree from Carson Newman College. He served on the Board of Directors for Bay Cities Bank, Meet the Need.org in 2010-2012 and also the Christian Legacy Foundation. Jeff also is affiliated with the Leadership St. Pete and the Institute of Real Estate Management Chapter 44.

Prior to his political career, Jeff served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Transportation Officer from 1996-2007 and in Iraq from 2003-2004. During his service he received the Combat Action-Army Commendation Metal.

He and his wife, Natalie Jackson, have two children named Charlotte and Colin. Jeff was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and is still a current resident.
