Delaware Governor Jack Markell (D) signed the Delaware Online Privacy and Protection Act (DOPPA) into law, part of a four-piece package of Internet privacy legislation.  The law includes regulations on the privacy policies of commercial online sites and services and restrictions on advertising products deemed inappropriate for minors.   DOPPA was passed along with three other bills expanding Internet privacy:  the Employee / Applicant Protection for Social Media Act, the Student Data Privacy Protection Act, and the Victim Online Privacy Act.
