In our October Update we provided information on the introduction of the British Irish scheme which commenced in China. From 10 February 2015, Indian nationals applying to visit the UK and Ireland will also be able to apply under the British Irish Visa Scheme. This will mean that Indian nationals wanting to visit the UK and Ireland will only require one visa for both countries. The visa can be applied for either through the UK or Irish authorities. However, individuals will need to initially visit the country which issued the visa (unless transiting). For further information on this scheme, please click here.
