FSA is consulting on guidance for non-executive directors (NEDs) to assist them in their responsibilities towards retail customers. It sets out seven specific challenges NEDs should place on businesses, to help them and their boards meet their conduct risk obligations, it also gives examples of good practice NEDs should be carrying out to satisfy themselves that they comply with these obligations. FSA launched the consultation at a conference for NEDs. It wants comments by 18 January 2012. (Source: FSA Consults on NED Guidance)
