The European Commission has published for the first time its Management Plans for 2015 , with two of the plans specifically aimed at data protection.

The plans include an evaluation of the implementation of the data security breach requirements in the E-Privacy Directive (2002/58/EC) alongside a more general look into the directives compatibility with proposed Data Protection Regulation.

The plan of the DG Justice and Consumer Affairs (DG JUST) provides a list of the main DP outputs expected for 2015 including the adoption of the Data Protection Regulation, the EU-US data protection umbrella agreement and a review of the EU-US safe harbor arrangement.
