The Financial Stability Board has published the terms of reference for its peer review of the implementation of the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. The main objective of the review is to determine how FSB member jurisdictions have applied the Principles to publicly listed, regulated financial institutions, identifying effective practices and areas where good progress has been made while noting gaps and areas of weakness. It will also identify possible areas of follow-up or where further work could be undertaken to further promote effective governance within financial institutions. Comments on the terms of reference are invited by 9 September 2016.
