Yesterday, the SEC announced that it would hold a roundtable discussion on April 15, 2009, relating to "its oversight of credit rating agencies." Anticipated discussion topics include "issues related to recent SEC rulemaking initiatives, such as conflicts of interest, competition, and transparency." The SEC has not yet finalized the agenda for the roundtable.
