CMA closes interchange fees investigations: CMA has announced that, in light of the impending EU Interchange Fee Regulation, it will close its investigations into MasterCard's and Visa's multilateral interchange fees. CMA has reached this decision on the basis that the Interchange Fees Regulation will address the harm to consumers and retailers which may be caused by the current levels of interchange fees.
