Conference on Sustainable Development is effectively shunning the issue of climate change, citing the fact that only two, out of 120-plus, paragraphs mention climate change in the draft declaration. The same day, a group of scientists, politicians, and academics called for immediate action on climate change, earning an endorsement from EU Climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard.
