Yesterday, on its own motion, the California Court of Appeal ordered a rehearing in The Gillette Company, et al. v. Franchise Tax Board and vacated its July 24 decision and opinion, which we previously discussed here. The court’s order came one day after the Franchise Tax Board filed a petition for rehearing.
